Oil of Olay Quench. It smells good and leaves a slight shimmer to the skin. It also keeps my dry skin moisturized for 24 hours.

Ooooh yes I have to agree with the Nut Body Butter from The Body Shop. :) Very moisturing and never greasy. ;)
If you are looking for a lotion for yourself, ask yourself what kind of scents suit your body, do you need the moisture? I work for Bath and Body Works. ;) 3 types of lotion there. The regular lotion from the Signature collection is made from Aloe Vera. The next one (step up in moisture) is the body cream... which is made from Avocado Oil. Then the last and most moisturizing in that section is the Body Butter. ;) Shea Butter. Ahh.
As for scents? I prefer the Sheer Freesia. :)

The Body Shop - Nut or Cocoa body butter or my fave is the African shea butter...its expensive, but grrrreat!
Corn Huskers Lotion - its kind of weird and sticky, but if you are having dry skin issues you will be shocked in the difference between this and other lotions...it leaves you so smooth!
Palmers Cocoa Butter - of course!

I like to make my own, because i can customize it for my own skin.
Use 1/4 cup distilled water (could be neroli water, or rose water)
heat 1/2 cup almond oil ( can also use jojoba, or other commercial grade natural oils)(can add some vitamin E) and add 1/8 cup aloe vera and 1/8 cup beeswax (chips melt fastest)
melt the chips in a double boiler -- if the oil starts to boil it will denature and the mixture wont work right.
once wax is melted, put water in blender, mix on medium and slowly add the oils till it mixes to a creamy consistency.
you can play with what kinds of oils you use, how much wax you add, you can add shea butter to make it smoother, and add your own scents with essential oils.
