Yes I do. If you want some proof, just take an astronomy course at your local college.
to ted.nardo: Just because you think that science "can't give any positive evidence to prove this date isn't right" doesn't mean that it can't. More than likely you just are not willing to listen to the evidence or open your mind.

No, I don't have to 'believe' it, for there is verifiable evidence that supports that fact. I can test it out on my own with the right equations.
One easy one is that we can see planets from billions of light-years away. Since light can only travel so fast, they must have been emitting that light for at least several billion years for it to reach us in time.
Or do you think that God created the Universe, created fossils in the Earth, and then made light suddenly move a lot faster until it looked like the Universe was this old?
However, since you asked this in the Religion & Spirituality section, it's clear you don't want actual scientific answers but to start a name-calling propaganda war. And religion has been rather successful with their anti-intellectual crusades for thousands of years.

Hard to say. Time compresses at high speeds, so you have to ask RELATIVE to what. Complete stand still or travelling at the speed of our Sun whatever that is. Not sure if anyone has ever attempted to determine what speed our sun travels at.
Remember if you are 18 and your 36 year old mother makes a round trip to Alpha Centuri at just under half the speed of light when she returns you are 38 and she is 37.
Now, how old is the univers.

Well I do believe it possibly is. I do not have direct evidence for billions. But I do have evidence for millions of years.
When you look at the stars, they are lets say 3 million light years away. (they are at different distances) That means the light that is hitting your retina left that star (at the speed of light) 3 million years ago. Meaning that light had to exsist 3 million years ago.
Also the reverse polarization of the oceanic floor in ribbions spreading from the great trench in the middle of the atlantic ocean is proof that our earth is millions of years old.

The evidence seems to support that notion - the expansion rate of the universe can be reversed and the age extrapolated.
