Im a 48 year old man , looking for a life long friend someone who is into a very simple life.I am into motorcycles and outdoors life in the summer. I hibernate in the winter, so why is it so difficult for me and most any man to meet somone without having to stand on my head and go through so many games including on line dating. Please help me figure this out

If that's your dating profile, I would question what you mean by hibernating during the winter. It makes you sound lazy and that you're out of a job during the winter and are sleeping it off for 5 months.
Women want a man who's succesful, hard-working, financially secure, ambitious...and at 48 years old, women expect you to be fully capable in all areas.
You have to really stand out in something else that makes you an extra special catch.
I strongly suggest joining a motorcycle club or an internet dating website and make a motorcycle blog or something that catches on your uniqueness over other men.

Don't do online dating, many times they do not work out. I suggest just going outside to public areas, parties and places you are interested in visiting. If you see a girl you like that doesn't have a boyfriend or is married, get to know her!
And have more confidence! Say you are 48 years YOUNG! That may fly with the women :D Girls like a guy that can make them laugh. Meet some people! Make friends, friends can often lead you to relationships :D

I don't know from your point of view how things work with women being that I'm not as old as you but...Is there no possibility you may find the woman of your dreams by just living life and running into her? Sometimes when you look to hard you never find what you want. Think of the millions of possibilities where you can find someone you could just click with and I hope it helps you feel better about your situation. What if you met her in line at the super-market or she works in your office building or whatever. Don't get discouraged there is someone for you.

Good question. so find someione who shares your interest, not be outside of it. Join a club where they have singles who go out on bikes and outdoors. Hibernating in the winter is a bullshit line and you know it. do something else during the winter that involves the great outdoors.

Just accept the fact that women want the romance and want to be pursued silly man. Your just at that age where your set in your ways and probably was spoiled by a woman before. There are plenty of women out there that want to spoil a man if he will treat her like the princess she is. Take her to church. Be the spirtual leader and see what happens dude...Grocery stores and car washes are good places to meet women and oh did I mention Church?

Well first of all don't listen to some of those jerks. It's not that we mean to play games the point is we are like y'all trying to prevent ourselves from getting hurt. You can find someone to want to be with you just be patient, but I mean there is alot you can do to stand out. Dress to impress go to hot spot . Now don't think that because of your age . Your never to old to find your soul-mate.

Women are a lot more complicated than we are. You just have to be able and willing to give a woman what she needs and desires and she'll love you for life and take really good care of you.
That's an incredibly gross oversimplification but it's basically what it boils down to. It ain't all about you, dude, it's about her. The challenge is in finding out what women want and need. Once you've gained that knowledge and your ability to fulfill it, for some women, you've got to narrow the pool down to the ones who can and are willing to fulfill your needs and desires.
Again, a gross oversimplification, but you've got to start somewhere.
My best suggestion is to start developing friendships with women without having romantic expectations of them. You'll be surprised what you will learn about how to attract women.

The best place to meet a good women is CHRUCH! It may do you some good to everybody needs to go to church. In my church there are several Lady's about your age alone or widowed and would love to find a man like you. On line dating is for the birds who wants to date someone who can tell you anything and it all turn out to be lies. Stay away from that!

Dude...she's not going to come knocking on your door...you need to get to know people online, offline, or both...there are PLENTY of great women out there!
Women aren't making it difficult for you. You are making it difficult for yourself.

Believe me, it's not just women that like to play games! I'm a woman and I'm SOOOOO glad I'm no longer in that dating game....WAY too many games at first for me. My husband and I stood each other so many times at firs it's pitiful. Men also tend to wait at least 2 days to call you after they get your number for the first time. Pitiful! Good luck! Just hang in there! The games soon end once you get in the relationship itself.
