I cook while drinking wine several times a week. More of it goes into my glass than into the food though. Cheers!

Every single time!

I am marinading some chicken in the fridge now: olive oil, white wine, crushed ginger, and herbs.

I made some rib eyes earlier. The mushroom sauce I made had a half a stick of butter, wine and Hungarian Paprika. Damn, the sauce was good but the steaks were awful. I bought them from Trader Joes.

Here is a GREAT recipe I got from Bon Appetit, September issue to use UNDER salmon:

1/2 cup of red wine
1/2 cup of diced shallots (or diced red onions and garlic if you don't feel like cutting all those shallots)
1/2 teaspoon of red wine vinegar
1 stick of butter

Cook first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan until the wine is reduced to 2 tablespoons
Add the butter, 1 tablespoon at a time whisking until frothy.
Spread on a plate and top with salmon

I tried this with white wine and white wine vinegar. It was not as tasty.

I try to cook with wine as much as possible. There is a down side , if you see it that way, rarely does the wine end up in the dish. It usually just ends up in my glass.. Bon Appetite

I never do - I guess if it were a special meal I would splurge on wine for cooking
