Nuts of all sorts can go bad. The oil in them starts to oxidize and it becomes rancid. You will be able to smell it when they do. They will smell bad kind of greasy and bitter. If you eat them they may also make you burp a nasty taste. Raw peanuts go bad faster than cooked peanuts but if your honey roasted peanuts were sealed when you started to eat them they are likely just fine.
Look on the jar's label to find the expiration date. Then enjoy if they are still good.

Don't know. Peanuts do not last long round my house. I do not think they would go off at all.

They don't last forever because the oils in the nuts will go rancid. You can freeze them to make them last longer.

If they still taste like peanuts, they're not rancid.
