He asked me out near the end of the last school year then during the summer we went out to dinner but then he didn't call at all. Once school starts again I find out he's been at a boot camp for this military school. After one of his good family friends gave me his e-mail I dropped a line and he called me about every week saying that he misses me, that I was the coolest friend ever and that he can't wait ot see me again. October, he came back and we saw each other at a party his family was having but it was unconfortable because all his family was there to see him since he had been away at this military school for 2 months.

Before X-mas break he called and said he'd see if he could ask his family if he could see me whilst he was home and he siad he'd call me later and been almost 2 weeks and he's already back at school and I have gotten no calls or e-mails.

Should I move on all toghether, move on but keep my hopes up, or keep waiting. And why does he say later and mean 2 weeks?

I am sure you like this guy and you want to be with him if it works out to be that way. Understand after being in military school and having a welcome home party, and then Christmas comes around you become overwhelmed with things and can't do everything you want to and get up with people that you said you would keep in contact with. It is hard to do all that when you are focused on something. He may like you still, but it would be wise to find out from him whenever you can talk to him and see what he says, don't get your hopes up if he does not want to pursue a relationship with you. You could wait for him and he not be around and be dating someone else or you could move on and it work out that it was better that way or wonder what it might have been had you stayed. It all depends on how you look at this situation, and figure out it if it is worth taking that next step, or just staying friends. He may not mean to leave you hanging and if he could he would try to make room for you so you and him could spend a lot of time together. Just do everything you can do before you make whatever your decision. Make sure it is what you want to do, if you and him can't come to a solution then it might me time to start thinking about parting ways and finding someone else your speed. Once you have outweighed your opinions then you know what you can and can't do. It is up to you want decisions you make and who you want to be with.

I wouldn't give up on being his friend, but I wouldn't hold out hope for a romantic connection.
He's in a weird place right now, and I am assuming you are both pretty young. I know he definately needs your friendship, but if you can't offer that without wanting a romantic relationship, then maybe you need to cut ties completely.

I would just forget about him. His loss. He must have gotten so busy with school and his family that he wasn't that interested in a relationship yet. Move on and find someone that's ready.

You'd like a social life, right? You might even need one. So, have one. If he wants to get together with you when he has time, he will call. But if he's not called when he said he would try to and he hasn't emailed you, don't hold your breath waiting for him.

Forget about this fool.
Boot camp, etc...are all excuses for not calling you....
If we men are interested in a woman we will drive or fly across the country, or to a different continent to see you.
He is just trying to be nice, to avoid the akwardness of giving you the "friends" talk. OR, he is being nice, in the hopes that in a moment of weakness you will hand him your panties.
Find another one

The fact that he said he'd have to "ask his family" if he could see you should have been a warning sign. The guy is a dud.

Relegate him to the past and keep yourself open to meeting a guy who is worth your interest.

Maybe he's waiting for the right moment to be with you without other people being around. I would be patient and wait a while. You just might be surprised.
