Concealing wouldn't hurt anything ,But if you will turn to the Lord he will help you through anything if you believe. He helps me through every day of my life I would be lost without him and so is everybody that doesn't know him. Believe me he will never leave you.

Although I certainly cannot speak for all abandoned babies, I can speak for myself. I was abandoned as a baby in Taiwan who was found in a telephone booth. I lived in an orphanage for the next 18 months until I was adopted by an American family.
Presumably I was abandoned due to having congenital birth defects. Before I turned 18 I already had undergone over 25 surgeries to correct these problems. One reason I may have been abandoned was because the Taiwanese medical care would not have kept me alive.
After being adopted into an American family, even though I was always in and out of the hospital and underwent years of speech therapy, I always felt lucky to be surrounded by friends throughout my childhood. At 16 I started college; before I turned 21 I was working as a chemical engineer. Now 25, I am one year away from finishing a Ph.D. in chemical engineering.
I have survived abandonment and abuse, and have never had any difficulty in maintaining normal relationships with peers, co-workers, or supervisors of either gender. I have been to counseling, but the abandonment was a minor cause. Yes, I do get depressed about not knowing the true identity of my birthparents (especially around my birthday) but I also count my blessings for being alive today. Had I not been abandoned, had I not been able to receive the superior medical care in America, I would likely not be alive today.
I have no insecurity or jealousy with the opposite sex, nor do I harbor bitterness towards my birth parents (especially my birth mother) for having to make what surely was a heartbreaking decision - keep a child likely to die because of unavailable medical care, or abandon it with no guarantee that the child would survive.
I am very happy to be alive and am grateful to so many people who have guided and helped me become the person I am today.
