I've had bad dandruff also... I went to the dermatologist because head and shoulders and selsun blue didn't work for me.. He advised me to Neutrogena T -gel and nizoral... they both helped my problem and i no longer have flakes. Neither on them give you a tingling sensation so don't feel like they don't work and it takes 3 or 4 times for you to see a difference.

Hope I helped...

I have the same problem as you, but i've learned that head and shoulders won't work for me. Try T-Gel. That shampoo is really good, but it smells pretty bad, I just use another shampoo after it.

as much as the really good smelling shampoos are tempting, you need to switch to head and shoulders it smells pretty good and it does make your hair fluffy, white flakes are like gross, please use the dandruff shampoo use it for a straight week and you will see no more flakes.
