OK,I already asked why my cat might be peeing everywhere. And from the answers I got I think its either the fact that we just changed to diffrent litter or that she has UTI. But I still don't excatly don't get what it is. Can someone explain to me? Like is it fatal or a common very curable disease?
Once again thanks,

A cat can get UTI from holding its pee because the litter box is dirty. The concern is not that the cat has it, but that your cat needs medical attention.

If your cat is not straining to pee (just a few drops) then it doesn't have UTI. Peeing in strange places could be a sign of psychological stress. Did something change in your household? A new pet? A new baby, girlfriend or boyfriend? Did you move to a new house? Is the cat lonely? Many factors can cause a cat to act strange all of a sudden.

UTI = Urinary Tract Infection. People get them too. Very curable with a course of medication given by your vet. I would get it looked at as soon as you can, not because it's fatal (it's not), but because they are painful and not fun.
Also make sure that you are keeping the litter box clean so that your kitty will want to use it. Some cats are really picky. Also having poop in the box can cause UTI's.
So, take your baby to the vet and have her checked out. Good luck!

For a female cat, UTI (urinary tract infection) is more common than in males because they have a shorter urethra. Usually it can be treated with antibiotics but will recur if there is an underlying problem. One of the most common causes of recurrent UTI is crystals in the bladder; changing diet is the most effective way to correct this problem, but sometimes just getting the cat to drink more will help. Wet (canned) food will get the cat to consume more total water, with the trade off being faster development of dental problems; sometimes installing a water fountain will get cats to drink more.

UTI in females is rarely dangerous unless it persists long enough to reach the kidneys. In males a combination of crystals, plus mucus and swelling from the irritation they produce, can plug the urethra making it impossible to urinate; this can be fatal within 24 hours if not treated. Sometimes crystals cause irritation making it possible for infection to set in; in other cases infection causes changes in the urine that allow crystals to form. Since it's not always clear what causes what, vets sometimes refer to urinary problems in general as FLUTD (feline lower urinary tract disease).

Cats usually have trouble in the urinary tract when the pH of the urine gets out of whack. It is normal for a cat's urine to be slightly acidic. If it gets on the alkaline side of the scale crystals can form in the bladder and urinary tract which can cause complete blockage of urine passage and be fatal within 48 hours.
Sometimes the crystals are just there and don't obstruct the passage of urine and are irritating to the tissue, causing pain on urination and sometimes causing an infection.

A vet determines if something like this is going on by doing a urinalysis on the cat. The vet may want your cat on a prescription diet and give antibiotics for any infection.

If the urine veers to the other side of the scale oxylate stones may form and they frequently have to be removed with surgery.

UTI is very common, very curable. Not fatal unless the cat is completely unable to pee, which doesn't seem to be your problem here. I changed to a prescription food and never had another problem.

my cat has had a UTI - sometimes it's common among the breed or it's their diet ! My vet told me DON'T feed them people food - it's not good for animals because their digestive system is not like ours and can't handle the food and can cause all kinds of problems especially now adays with all the chemicals in our food. But anyway it's treatable with an antibiotic - they have it in liquid form which is much easier to give them then a pill!

Any type of infection can be fatal. An infection left untreated can lead to sepsis (blood poisoning). I'm not sure what causes UTI's but if you think it is, get her to a vet asap.

UTI is not fatal. Try changing its food and make sure it has plenty of milk.
