You should take her to the vet immediatly! Before it is too late. Don't be so worried, but do somethig quick. I fyou can't get an appointment so soon, you should lie her down on her bed, wrap the leg with and kind of cloth, and wrap her in a blanket. Maake sure she stays in bed all time, except when she need to pee or eat. Supposevly bring the food to her.

Place her gently on your bed, without touching the leg she is limping on. Pet her and sooth her. If you can, gently slide her onto her side and try to get a look at the paw. Does she have something stuck in it? Is there any blood, wet or dried? Is there a claw sticking into her pad? Is her pad swollen? Gently try to feel up the leg and feel if there is any swelling? If you notice anything unusual or it persists, take her to the vet tomorrow, if you can.

It could possibly be for attention, but I doubt it. I would take her to the vet if the problems persist. Until then keep on eye on her when she is on stairs and other places which might cause the limp to grow worse. I would wait a day and see. Good luck!

My cat when she was old, suffered when a blood clot impaired her ability to walk without a limp. The next day she was fine, but about a week later her side was not operational. Check her paw to see if there is circulation, the color will change like ours. Unfortunately I had to put her down, she was 17. I hope your cat doesn't have this issue. Ultimately she died of heart disease.

She is definitely hurting, take her to the vet. I would think if it was broken she wouldn't be walking on it. Maybe its arthritis or a hurt paw or something the vet can help relatively easily!

Look at her paws and touch the leg. If she yelps it might be broken. Look for raw pads on the paws.

She must be in a lot of pain and is crying out to you for help. You know what you have to do. A vet must assess her for what is wrong and treat her TOMORROW.
