Dorothy Parker once said, "Boys don't make passes at girls who wear glasses." Is this true? Because I quite like my glasses and there's no way I'd ever get rid of them for a guy. I'm just curious.

That is not true! Perhaps because I wear glasses, I find glasses on a girl very sexy, and it shows that she is not vain or embarrassed about her looks either.
Don't get rid of your glasses and find that only the best guys can see the best in girls with glasses!

Me either. And for the record, my boyfriend happens to like my glasses quite a bit. Sometimes if I ask if I should wear my glasses or contacts when we go out, he chooses the glasses. But, we're both geeks, so I guess it's to be expected ;-) It's a silly saying, especially since nerds are cool these days.

I'm not sure what the true story is, but from my experience.... I wore contacts until about a little over a year ago but, due to dry eyes, switched to glasses. I SWEAR I have never had so many guys checking me out and flirting with me as I have since switching to glasses ! I wish I had done it years ago :)

as long as they aren't aviator glasses or are really big you'll be fine i personally think women look better w/ glasses. maybe cause i wear glasses i don't know but i do like them. definitely keep them
