but don't the antis do the same thing when they use the same monotone answer "married to an illegal" "must be Hispanic" "must be illegal" "go back to Mexico" for an answer when they lack a legimate response?

most of the pros missed the point, this is what I have been called an told in response to my answers and have seen others told this as well... like anything I say is dismissed because I must be "illegal or married to one"

most of what they say is out of fear. They have run out of arguments they are starting to realize the "illegals"are staying and they have nothing that they can do to stop them from staying.

Yes, pro-illegals always use the "race card" because they lack a legitimate response.
Mind you, security at the Mexico/America border is one of the main issues in this debate... plus, 80% of the illegal population here is made up of Mexican citizens. Guess that makes them 80% of the problem, hence the reason they are often times mentioned.
What legitimate reasons do they have for being here? They need to come legal, or not at all. Those laws are in place for good reason, and they should not be blatantly ignored.
BTW, I didn't see one anti answer your question by saying you "must be married to an illegal" "must be hispanic" "must be illegal" or "go back to mexico"

It is not so monotone.. just repetitious that those opposed to illegal aliens must hear the same thing over and over again. It is race cards being dealt by those that support illegals; those that oppose just respond to it. Does not the questioner claim to be against illegals also?

i agree with meaniel and that it doesn't matter come legal that's what Americans want till mexico or any other country opens their borders and takes care of immigrants illegal or legal they have no room to point a finger ! and just like children we can say its because you say this or you said that, or he said she said crap. life is not fair and in life there are rules to everything including immigration i think its great people can come and start a new life. but we cant take on the world so play by the rules its the same thing every country asks.
legitimate response's in relation to what questions ? maybe those questions warranted that response?

Who cares what illegals and their supporters want or say. They are law breakers. They have no right to complain. If someone is a legal immigrant,I will sit down and listen to them, because they followed the law. Illegals think they are above the law.

It should be a really really short debate. Everything after 'illegal' just really doesn't matter. The law's being broken, it's the rightful place of citizens to protest that. The citizens of Mexico, and other countries, need to start demonstrating some of their own citizenship, and endeavoring to support the domestic reforms they need to enact in order to elevate their standard of living and their own economies. We shouldn't be tolerating the 'steal it from america' ethic that seems to be getting so prevalent. Uphold and enforce immigration laws, support better border enforcement measures, maybe even propose immigration-specific treaties, so that all the facts get laid out on the table...

Let us review words issued over the years by pro-illegals...and let their own words stand for what is really happening here.
