You might find a kit you want, visit the site, and personally ask a representative there. Most places should have a way to contact them.
I think if the bleach is strong enough, it can't color any type of hair though.
I know one of my girlfriends bleaches her hair all the time to put other colors in, but I've never stopped to ask her if she uses a specific lightner.
I'd really look into it just in case though.

Yes, dear. It is just bleach. But you are best going to a licensed shop just as a white person with dark hair is best to do. Very dark hair is tricky to lift correctly; and best left to a professional. The volume of peroxide is only 20% in those kits, and not nearly strong enough to bring it up to the colour you would want. Most probably it would turn bright orange, like Ronald McDonald's.

the reason that its a caucasion hightlighting kits is because its for that type of hair type!! black & white hair is dramatically different. dont use it. aim for african american highlighting kits or go 2 a beautician(who specializes in black hair) 4 help.

btw those kits can break off ur hair, leave it damaged, or discolor your hair. using a kit that's specialized to your hair is the best thing to do.

half those caucasion kits mess up white people's hair too.
be careful when ur looking 4 stuff 4 ur hair

Yeah but box color is damaging to your hair - whether it's Loreal or Dark and Lovely. I tell everyone who talks about doing their own color or relaxers or perms at home, GET A PROFESSIONAL TO DO IT! I had a client who did her own relaxer for years and eventually had to come in to see me because her hair fell out from the harsh chemicals in the relaxer. Professional products are healthier for your hair and if you just let them do it the first time, you are less likely to have to worry about reactions or problems later on from at-home hair products.

I dont belive that they can, they could damage your hair. Not all caucasian hair products can be used in our hair.

Yes but you'll tend to get red-brown highlights instead of yellow-white. Why would you want to do that to your hair anyway?

I don't think it would be strong enough. Black hair is very delicate as you probably know. I would see a stylist if I were you.
