It's nearly impossible quote a tattoo without seeing the design. Most places will charge by the hour and your wings will take longer to tattoo depending on the size, whether or not you get color, and how detailed they are. I think a safe average of most shops is about $100 an hour.

It depends on the artist and how good they are.
Most tattoers that are medium-well/to good charge about 150 an hour.
But you also have a lot of jerks that can't draw a straight line that think they're worthy of charging that amount.
So just estimate the time it'll take, and add it up to see what the cost will rangel.
But your best way to tell is to go find someone you really want to have do it, draw it out for you and give you their estimate.
PS...tattoos aren't lame. Ignorant people are.

my guess it sounds like 4-6 hours of needle work @ average price of $100 per hour , about 4-5 hundred bucks

I'd say a minimum of $500 (much more for extreme detailing and color)...and be prepared to go on two or more trips...that AIN'T happening in one day.
