I want my hair to have some beautiful big loose curls. Kinds like the celebs at premieres. Except there's one problem, how do i do it?? Im looking for something that just uses a curling iron and no extra products.

Hot rollers are better than a curling iron. There's an entire article on curls in the February issue of Glamour that you might find helpful.

I recently purchased a Babylis large barrel CERAMIC curling iron and I found it made a big difference to the curl, and it works much faster than the average curling iron. It compares well to my large hot rollers. I've seen a ceramic flat iron give similar curls to the round barrel curling iron.

Curl the hair downwards in medium chunks. A wee bit of hair spray or hair gel sprayed on each chunk really helps them last longer. Separate the curls gently with your fingers.

It also helps if the hair is not too clean, day old hair works best, usually. To avoid the frizzes, condition your hair the day before also. This may work but it is usually hard to hold a hairstyle without some product.

use rollers, rather than a curling iron, because they will get the "big loose curls" that you are aiming for, whereas a curling iron will have tighter, smaller curls generally. You can find rollers hot or not, but hot ones tend to work quicker, while cool ones sometimes require you to sleep in them. Once you have the curls, try gently running your fingers through the curls to loosen them up a bit. if you want a bit more detail, maybe choose a few strands and attack them with the curling iron, to create a more mixed look.

After washing and towel drying your hair put in some rather large rollers (not hot-rollers) and keep them in over night. Spray them with a light mist of hair spray. When you take the rollers out be very gentle not to actually unroll them, but slide the rollers out the side. Arrange the curls and spray.

With hot rollers (get the very large ones) make sure your hair is completely dried (so blow-dry after washing) and use the same technique as with the other kind of rollers.

If your hair is terribly straight actually getting a perm done using the largest curlers they have may be necessary and then use the methods above and that will help hold the "curls" for longer. Otherwise the wieght of the hair will straighten them within just a couple of hours.

Unfortunately, you need "products" to really do it well and make it stick. (Gel, etc.) Anyway, what works for those types of curls better than anything is hot rollers, not a curling iron. You put them in the hair hot, let them cool, then take them out. Gives you the BEST curls.

Run some moose by way of damp hair and curl it with both a larger barreled curling iron or warm rollers. it would want to take a little while if you're actually not acquainted with curling your hair, in spite of the undeniable fact that it really is going to artwork. I gave this suggestion to a distinct woman and he or she stated it labored like a allure. desire this helps.
