me and Laura have decided when we get married we would like to do it on a beach in spring or summer and hence I am wondering what sort of clothes we should look at wearing and also for guests..nothing too formal nothing to casual though....can you please give some ideas??

Beach weddings are very popular. One thing that makes it so popular is the fact that it does not have to be so dressy. For your guests, the best clothing choice would be a sundress for the ladies and the men slacks and a nice short sleeved collared shirt. As for you and your bride, so that she still feels like a bride there are many dresses out there that offer a lighter feeling so that she is not sweating to death. For you I would suggest a white collared shirt and black slacks. It still looks dressed up but is not over dressed for the beach. And you can go for a nice theme with colors and Hawaiian shirts for the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Those are just some ideas for you. that all depends, is she wearing a wedding dress or just a casual dress? Are you going to wear a tux? Guests should come in casual for a casual/laid back wedding. Or, for a more fancy beach wedding, semi formal. Hope that helps :)

She could wear a white strapless dress linen or something very cool, but the color would set it off with the right accessories. Hair pulled up with some simple flowers and maybe a simple piece of ribbon a different color from the dress. You could wear some white relaxed pants with a button up in linen. It sounds cool.

I'm thinking flowing fabrics. perhaps some linen pants and shirt for you. In khaki and white? I'm sure your fiance can find a ton of beach ready wedding dresses. If you have groomsmen they could wear the linen pants and maybe a floral shirt...
