Why would you keep a 10 yr. old inside for a month? That sounds like child cruelty.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Why does a 10 yr old need to lose 30 lbs in 1 month? And Why would a 10 yr old not want to go outside??

A 10 yr old MUST GO OUTSIDE TO PLAY WITH FRIENDS!!!

IT IS A SOCIAL ISSUE!!! Without it, a 10 yr old will stay inside, eat and get bigger!

The best way for a 10 yr old to lose weight is to go outside and PLAY!!!! Walk around, bounce a ball, ride a bike, skate! ANYTHING!

No other way is safe and it can't be done in a month!

AND DO something else, get rid of every drop of candy, cookies, cake, chips and soda! Eat fruits and veggies!

Good luck! :-)

First of all, no ten year old needs to be trying to lose that amount of weight in that amount of time. Its not healthy and dieting too much can stunt a child's growth. For 30 pounds it should take at least three or four months. One of the easier ways to drop a few pounds is to cut back on unnecessary snacks. That means no soda, no greasy foods or sugars unless you are have your meals. Find something healthy to snack on like baby carrots or celery or start chewing gum. But do not eat in from of the tv. only eat at the table during meal time. Also, try to be eating a lot of veggies and fruits, because you need the vitamins and they are also low in fat and calories. And exercise is a must. If you can't go outside, you can go to a gym or a large store and walk. Try to get in at least 15 minutes of walking or sports or other kinds of exercise every day. This is not a miracle diet, but if you stick with it, you should lose weight, how much depends on you. Also, please go to a doctor to discuss it before trying to lose such a large amount of weight, just to make sure you stay healthy at the same time.

That's alot of weight to loose in 1 month. Sounds unhealthy. I think the best way is to introduce foods that are low glycemic (low carb, low sugar, low fat). Make the childs lunch and send healthy snacks, don't send them with money to buy junk at or after school. Don't buy junk food. Let your kid plan video games to keep them occupied and there mind off food. Let them go roller skating twice a week send a snack not money. Take them bowling. Do things that are fun. So to introduce activitys that don't seem like a chore.
