I thought about families, for example, who perished in the Holocaust; where the parents lived righteous lives, loved the Lord, taught their children likewise, and are now suffering the eternal torment of Hell; because their religion has a God who is not Jesus. If anybody doesn't believe in Jesus, Jesus is not amused.

Who came up with this idea, and how do you like it?

Church people came up with the idea, cause it keeps disagreeable types out of Heaven. Heaven is intended to be an everlasting reunion, where only church people are allowed.

Presumabley that doesn't include Jews. None of them will say they don't like Jews, but how convenient it is that Jews must go to Hell.

Just between you and me, church people are losers; and so they compensate, by pretending only their kind can get into Heaven.

Sad and pathetic.

What are you talking about? Jesus is not the God. Jesus is God's son. And the word Hell is a misused word. Get a concordance and a religious dictionary (Smith's) and look up the meaning of the word Hell. Also the word Gehenna Hades, and Tartaroo and the lake of fire. I think you will be amazed at your findings. And if you can quote me one verse out of the bible where Jesus says I AM GOD, I would love to know where it is. Jesus only referred himself as the son. He did say that his Father and he was as one, but he also said the same thing about a husband and wife, and he said the same thing about his followers. So are they all God? Jesus is the Son, not the Father. There is only one God. Jehovah. What happens to people, like at the Holocaust is a sad thing, and they are not suffering in Hell, they are dead in their graves merley waiting for the resurrection. Knowing this truth about God's word is a blessing.

. you're best ....yet you're no longer meant to respond to your very own questions. :~) enable those right here grant the solutions. inclusive of.... concerning to HELL What do think of Hell particularly is? old testomony (Hebrew) - Sheol is merely the grave. New testomony (Greek) - Hades is merely the grave. Hell is merely the grave. in case you have been taught that that's an eternal burning fireplace, stoked by potential of devil, please comprehend that the Bible says at Revelation 20:10, Revelation 20:thirteen, 14, and Revelation 21:8 that Hades and devil are the two destroyed. Verse 8 says that the "Lake of fireplace" is dying. It says that all and sundry LIARS go there. devil IS a liar. John 8:40 4 devil DIES. The Bible says so ! No devil plus no Hades, potential there is no eternal burning hellfire. See.....The Bible does not particularly tutor what maximum religions say that it does .

We don't know how God reacts to our Jewish bros and sisters. The bible says if they didn't reject Jesus then us Gentiles would not have been brought the gospel. So if they are told when they die or if God has mercy on his chosen people I don't know and I'm not their judge.

Something you said thought has bothered me. You said, "the parents lived a righteous life..." Who is righteous before God? Is there one that is sinless except Jesus? The bible says, "there is not one that is righteous, no not one" And also, "All sin and fall short of the glory of God" and "Our good works are as filthy rags to God" Who hasn't lied? Stolen? Lusted? Will God allow lying thieving adulterers into his holy kingdom? NO.
So who can enter into heaven? Who can be sinless? Because God will NOT let sin into his heaven.
Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life" When one believes and folllows the teachings of Jesus their sins are forgiven. They appear white as snow to God. When he looks on us he sees his son, perfect. "There is no other name under heaven where by we must be saved"

Hey, my hands are tied. I can't change the rules, okay. Jesus said it, so that's how it it is. Now stop bothering us with these silly-assz questions.

If you truly want to be saved go and kneel before the Baptist preacher's altar and do the special incantation. It's good for one holy pass on Judgment Day.

And don't worry about who's in Hell, maybe it'll be you. Ha!

It's a fear tactic. Do this or you burn in Hell. Don't do that, you will burn in Hell.

Many religions don't believe in Hell.

If a religion needs to recruit by claiming that all those who do not believe as they do will burn in Hell (for eternity no less) - that's pretty sad don't you think?

I personally doubt that Jesus - a kind, generous, peaceful, loving man - would condemn anyone to eternal fire.

Christianity claims that it has the only pass-key to heaven and all the rest are lying.. The Christian faiths love people who don't bother to think and they find lots of them. The religion business is very competitive and greedy. This is just another example.

I definitely don't like this idea. In fact, it was one of the deal-breakers between me and Christianity. Any God who would treat other people that way--basically extorting them into one belief OR ELSE--doesn't deserve our respect.

For what it's worth, I honestly don't think Jesus approves of this idea either. I think when he said the only path to heaven was through him, he meant by behaving in the way he modeled, not that saying "Yes, I believe in Jesus as my savior!" was your get-out-of-jail-free card.

According to the majority of the 1000 or so branches of christianity, anyone who doesn't believe in the same thing as their particluar christian branch is going to hell, once again proving that christianity makes as much sense as old greek gods. But, well, just don'e let your selves be brainwashed!!!

oh, so you,ve visited the place you call 'hell' and have seen those people burning.

sounds like someone needs some study tools so you can interpret the bible correctly.

final death is called 'lake of fire'. those other words mean either the grave or the dump outside jerusalem . no one will burn forever. it means forever they have been burnt and blotted out.

oh, my these churches are letting folks down! it's like an endless parade of folks uneducated in GOD'S word. i try to get to them all, but i need help. would you please study and help me out?
