He does not have another girlfriend, no kids, not married...
We had a first date last week after he pursued me for a while.....now he just works and goes home (alone). Nothing bad happened on the date, in fact it went really well with great chemistry between us (based on his body language) so I dont get it. What gives?

FYI....At the end of our date, he said his schedule is really busy for the next few weeks but to call him if I wanted to go to a movie or hang out. I left a message for him last week but did not hear from him. We live near each other so I know he is home by himself.

- Maybe in the end of the date he wasn't interested in you. That's life and you must respect his choice as you also could have the same feelings.
- Is he shy? First date is not that hard but personally I don't know how to progress after that. If so, you must give him a chance to come back.
- He really could be busy these days. You can wait.
In any case, don't contact too much.

Did he say that he like you and did he say that he will call you? Maybe he was looking for a bennies and that's it? If he really likes you, he would have called you. I wouldn't worry to much! Move on! Good luck!

You've got to make some moves too. If you're waiting for him to initiate everything, then you're inadvertently sending him the signal that you're not interested.

keep in mind that calling could be awkward and uncomfortable for a guy, even if he is really interested

or if he is just waiting the week or so to not seem to desperate

he maybe painfully self conscious and is worried about seeming too eager or desperate.
