My brother plays Maple Story(PC) and now, my dad would let us play it because he plays too much everyday. I think he's reached his patience limit because he let my brother play like, all day and told him to take little breaks and stuff. My brother wants a laptop and now, my dad's kinda forcing us to buy it because he also needs time on the computer, So, the point is, (my dad asked this) What can he do? My brother really wantes to play Maple Story but my dad says he needs to buy the laptop to play it. My brother doesn't feel any guilt that he played over his limits and whines that he should play longer .

Your dad should give your brother an enforced time limit...enforced being the key word. Like a half and hour a day. If he goes over his half and hour, then he doesn't get it the next day...get my drift. That way, everyone else in the house has time on the computer and your brother gets to play his game.

sounds like a whiney brat to me. your dad needs to be the parent and set limits and don't give in when the kid whines.
make a chart of who gets the computer from say 1pm to 3pm and so forth. if you don't use your time you lose it. but it needs to be firm --no going over your allotted time. or you lose an hour tomorrow.or better yet....no computer at all the next day. do you guys know what outdoor sports are? you know....games you play outside the house, that do not include a computer.

Who is dad...a mouse or the head of the family....bust some *** pop....get the problem in line or your headed for serious stuff in the future........I will give him a kick in the pants if you'd like....but you better getcontrol of the computer geek...my boy tried to do the same....he does all types of stuff now football, basketball etc..he goes outside for these activities......
