zits and pimples are mainly hormonal and caused by the inside, so creams do relatively little against them. drink plenty of water to flush out toxins, keep your skin clean using anti-acne products and eat lots of fruit and veg, no fried foods.

If your acne is real bad, then you should see a dermatologist. If not then there really isn't anything you can do except keep the affected area clean and dry. Wash often. Eat sensibly and get plenty of rest. Most importantly, drink lots of water. You can pop 'em if you must but that's just going to leave a red mark for a couple of hours. The rest is up to growing older until the hormone thing starts slowing down!

If you have a problem with recurring acne, you might want to check with a dermatologist. My cousins both had what's called 'impacted acne' which is the worst-case scenario. I doubt you have that but the doctor can tell you more about what's going on with your overall skin condition and recommend proper medicine. Otherwise, you might waste a lot of money on stuff that only makes your problem worse and that can just leave your skin damaged and scarred. You might even have a hormonal imbalance that needs attention if you're an adult.

Go to the dermatologist-especially if you have been getting them frequently. One of the best things that worked for me was Metrogel and Plexion face cloths-they have sulfur in them and that really helped! My face has been so clear! If you dont want to go to the derm Mario Badescu is really good too. They will even send you free samples to try out the products-try the "Drying Mask" that too is made with sulfur and it really helps those stubborn zits! **oh make sure your not allergic to sulfur or sulfur products though!

I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer better then twenty times. Often, the person who voted it the best answer was amazed at how well it worked, even those who had severe cases of acne. I'll copy and paste it below.
Use a hot compress on it (a washcloth, sponge, or anything that will allow you to apply moist heat to the area), and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, rinse it with warm water, blot off the excess water with a clean towel, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.
Here are some of the previous comments I cut and pasted from those who voted it as the best answer, (Copied and pasted as written. Capital letters seen are as originally answered)

I use two creames/gels on my face, a night and day, they are prescribed. And when I use them correctly I am break out free. The night stuff is called Differin. and the day is called Clindamycin or Olindamycin (its hard to tell anymore) but I am sure if you google it or call your doctor he/she could tell you more about it. Also, wash your face daily, morning and night

never wash your face with soap cause that will break your face out,I wash my face with hot water as hot as you can stand it then rinse with cold water.
