How many of you think that these people who come to this question site and insult people and their religion...

have ADD or some other mental disorder? I mean it, I am not trying to be rude as they are. I seriously think they need help, but thats just my opinion, what do you think?

Perhaps your answer will help them see how bad off they are and they will seek help and live a much more stable and peaceful life.

I think they do have problems. People that come and insult others lack tolerance and knowledge. What I mean is many get their info/knowledge from other sources such as the media which is bias. When I read such ignorant comments I feel sorry for that person because I know they lack the ability and courage to find out things/information on their own. They are being fed information and they never come out of the "box." It seems like a long game of chess of you ask me and it's getting boring.

No, I don't think that they have a mental disorder. I think that their behavior is essentially normal for the environment in which they live. They're typically immersed in religious belief communities that endorse (heck, that practically demand) the act of insulting people who do not share their beliefs, and of course so much of the larger culture also endorses Christian harassment of non-Christians (in the U.S., anyway). As a result, an otherwise perfectly normal person will think that it's perfectly fine to come here and insult people who don't share their Christian beliefs.

I am unipolar. Does that mean I come to a site and insult people or attack their religion? No. Most people that 'attack' someone else's religion do it either out of anger, or because they aren't completely secure with their own.
Not because they're mentally ill. Now, if someone attacks someone's religion while stating they're using massive amounts of aluminum foil to control the brain waves of the masses,
......They're mentally ill.

Unfortunately i think the problem is simple stupidity and ignorance. Education and exposure to other cultures should teach respect for all cultures but many lack these opportunities or are too ignorant to understand.

Nah, some people are just a**holes, and answering religious questions is a good way to be obnoxious.

Like the saying goes, one should avoid discussing sex, politics and religion with people one does not know well.

well, maybe some of them do but, they could be trying to be sarcastic, and going to far, but i agree the people that are doing that that dont have problems need to stop because some of the questions on this site are actially true and they might actually need help with their questions. but ya they really need to get themselves under control.

i suspect they are just lashing out because they are lost, confused, and haven't been able to find an way of living that lets them feel good about themselves AND do anything they want, any time they want to do it, without regard to any consequences...it tends to make some folks a little cranky
