go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and follow the directions. If you are filling out the 0607 FAFSA you need your 2005 federal tax return. IF you are filling out the 0708 FAFSA (for next school year) you will have to estimate based on your last pay stub. If you are under 24 you will most likely need your parents to fill it out as well. They can go online to your saved application and fill out out and sign without you even being there. You and your parent will need at PIN, available at www.pin.ed.gov, or through the fafsa site.

Free help is available at most colleges, look for info about college goal Sunday or similar programs offered in your state.

Answer the questions and have your previous years' tax form that you filed ready for use. They need to know how much you made the previous year. And if you're underage, you need your parent's info. Also there's a check for have not filed yet.
