How can identify an HD tv?

i dont know if my LCD is HD or not because it was a gift and i cant ask that person who gave it to me @ the time...I want to know is there a way to identify if it is HD compatable.....

NOTE: I SAW AN HDMI INPUT

Didn't it come in a box? It should say on the box. Even so, I'm almost positive that it is because of the HDMI input. To find out for yourself just look for the model number and look for it on the manufacturers website.

I can't imagine them putting and HDMI input on a non-HDTV, so I think you can safely assume it is HD.

Yes mostly LCD TVs are HDTV.
