The DNA makes the RNA that makes the proteins. So C. DNA.

Yes DNA has the information. It's transcripted to RNA and this is translated to proteins. Since you said "originally", DNA is the correct answer.

I agree that it's C: DNA.

DNA has the genes which are instructions to build proteins.
mRNA is made by copying the gene.
rRNA is in the ribosomes.
tRNA brings the amino acids to the ribosomes where the proteins are being built according to the base sequence on the mRNA.

But it all starts with DNA.
