When guys say "they'll call you" why do they take forever to do it? It drives me crazy.

If he is an active person, it would be easy for him to forget. I have been accused of the same thing.........and I am sorry for it every time.

from a guys point of view- they don't want to look desparate. Or seem to committed. Keep in mind- guys want a relationship but in a way- is scared to death about it also. Give him time. Over the course of the relationship- he'll be so comfortable, he'll call non stop.

He could be busy, or try to not seem pathetic and eager.
Honestly, I think if a guy likes a girl, he should just call her. The childish games are pathetic.
