So I met this REALLY attractive guy while out with friends over the weekend.......physically he is EXACTLY my type. So we got to talking a flirting and he has an amazing personality and we got along great. So we exchanged numbers and screen names, and today I was chatting with him online when I realized I never asked how old he was. Turns out he's 32. I'm 19, 20 in about a month. Do you think thats too much of an age difference. I'm pretty sure my friends and family would think it was odd, and might have a problem with it. But I REALLY like him! What do you think?

And yes, he does know how old I am, and doesnt have a problem with it.

I am 25 and engaged to a man that is 45, and I can honestly say I have never been happier with anyone I have dated. Our families don't care about our age differance at all. They are just happy that we are both happy and good for each other.
I know that other people will say things, but the one thing I have noticed is that all of those people are miserable anyway.

I don't miss any of the games and b*llsh*t that I went through with other guys. He has been caring and affectionate and knew what he wanted in a relationship. There were no games. I don't think you can find that with alot of younger guys.

I really hope you don't let other peoples opinions ruin what could be a wonderful thing for you.

Well, the best person to answer that question would be you. If you do not have a problem with dating an older man, then do not fret over what other people will think. However, I would take it a bit slow and see where the relationship may develop.

If you are mentally mature and wiser than your age, then the age difference will not be noticed. However, one problem in December-May relationships is that the partners may not relate in several areas (activities, interests, energy level, etc.) including mentally and future goals, which will cause problems as the couple will feel that the other is not on their level. The older partner may feel that he has "been there, done that" when it comes to things the younger partner is interested in or in doing; the younger partner may feel that the older partner is not "hip" to things she is into or feels.

However, take things slow, get to know each other really well. Good luck to you if you decide to pursue the relationship.

You are of legal age to date whomever you want, even with that age difference. Everyone is different: I was 19 when I dated someone who was 30. We were alike in personality, but when it came to our goals, we were polar opposites. Mine was to live at home while I worked to save money to go to college and move out, his was to marry soon and have children, and to continue on with his career in technology/computers. We were at different times then and I wasn't ready to settle down, so we parted ways. But don't let my story prevent you from getting to know this guy better. Take your time in getting to know him better, and later down the road, if you both are on the same wavelength with life, communication, trust, and other aspirations, then I don't see any problem in the age difference. Good Luck!

When he is 72 you will be 60,

Id say no. I think the limit is about one generation or about 16-20 years.

Have fun and enjoy each other
