be kind and understanding, do ur job well, and never put no one down. treat them as u would like to be treated if it was you laying there in the hospital or office. even if they are unkind to you. some people are a little grumpy only because they are sick. ur getting off on a good start by asking questions. let me encourage you. i think you will make a great dr. someday. god bless you

well, when my friends are sad i tell them a joke that makes them laugh and then they're happy again but with being a doctor just give them medicine LOL or if they're a little kid give them a stuffed animal to hug when they are done and let them keep it they'll want to come back more
