Assuming you are single and in the US and you have no deductions to speak of and no one else can claim you as a dependent and you have no interest or dividend or stock sale income or rental income, then: 20000 gross less 3300 personal exemption less 5150 standard deduction leaves 11550 in taxable income. At the current tax rate levels, that means you would have to pay taxes of 1359.

For tax year 2006, you would get a credit of $30 for the telephone excise tax refund. So take $1359 less $30 less whatever you paid in withholding. If positive, you owe money. If negative, you get a refund.

You wouldn't qualify for earned income credit unless you had a child living with you, in which case the above answer would not be for you.

Given the above information, you would qualify to get your taxes done for free. Go to IRS.gov and search for VITA.

Your federal taxes will probably be about $1359. If you had more than that withheld, you'll get the rest back. If you didn't have at least that much withheld, you'll owe the difference.
