OK, answer: if you haven't done what you set out to do in an hour, then it probably means that you can't feel it anyway. so get a different kind and start all over again.

Because they are not designed for such prolonged action. They are good for a 5-10 minute quickie and that's about it. If you require longer duration, use an external lubricant such as KY Jelly or Astroglide to supplement the lubricant on the condom, which isn't much to begin with.
