i quit smoking 7 months ago..... AFTER i truly made up my mind i was goin to quit...... i havent started back. i honestly can say, i do still have cravings but they only last a minute or less. once im past that, im ok.

Get to as many AA meetings or other 12 step programs as you can. This is where you will find people just like you. We say 90 meeting in 90 day. Get a Big Book. Get a sponsor. Work a 12 Step program. And pray to your Higher Power. This is what I do and I well have 16 yrs at the end of the month with no relapses.

So far so good...drank for 30 years and have been sober for 26 months, one day at a time.

I gave up cigarettes COLD TURKEY but I told God if He got me home through the snow I ws driving in--I would Quit smoking.

Little did I know that He took me seriously and took away the craving-and I quit COLD TURKEY!!

Food was better, sex was better, and I quit coughing and coughing green crap up from my lungs.

HALLELUJAH!!!
