Are you talking about black as in the color here or about the natural african-american hair texture? If you're talking about the color then I'd stick with it. (I have no experience with african american hair so I can't advise you there) My hair is naturally black, and I get alot of compliments on how shiny it is, etc. It's becoming uncommon now to see people with naturally black hair, as alot of people with black hair lighten it to a shade of brown or other colors nowadays.

If it's your natural color, my guess is it looks great on you. In my opinion people usually look best with the hair they're given, but it can be fun to experiment too. Just don't pick anything too drastic at first. If you're going to change your color, choose something else that complements your complexion.

I think you should keep it the way it is...I had black hair once...then I dyed it over and over again, but I stopped. My hair was super dry...so I dont recommend it.

yes u should be proud of it i have natural hair i love it .grows really fast and also can flat iron for a striaght look use john fredas i dooo. Also u can still doo natural does

I think black hair looks really good if its shiney and clean so if its like that definitely keep it!

yes. im naturally a light brown and it turns blonde in the sun. I hate it! Iused to dye it black. lol....... i think you should keep it black.

Seeing that I have naturally black hair as long as your hair doesn't get nappy nappy you look nyce.
