Yes. The greenhouse effect is a process which solar radiation from our sun passes though a protective layer of atmosphere called the Ozone, and then enters the earth's atmosphere, but cannot escape b/c of other gases. We depend on this b/c it warms the earth enough for us to live.
Over many years now, our own pollution has eaten away at the Ozone layer and have produced holes, which causes more solar radiation from the sun to enter the earth's atmosphere than we need. Over time, this will continue to increase. Thus, global warming.

The simplest and most convincing graph I've seen:
400,000 years long. Time is the x axis
Carbon on the "left" Y axis, temperature on the "right".
Temperature rises shortly after carbon, and falls with carbon levels as well.
Several cycles occur in 400,000 years.
In the last 150 years of the human industrialiam, carbon has departed the cycle and has risen well above the normal bounds of the curve.
Temperature WILL follow.

True. Reason I say this is I live in Michigan. We have not had any snow to speak of and we have had high temps. this year. We have had a lot of rain but that is expected when temp. are so high. So as I have been in Michigan for the past 43 yrs I would have to say this is stranger than last year. Some day we may be the new Florida.

I'd have to say yes. The reason? I live in Canada, and it was 11 C yesterday (that is 52 F). We have absolutely no snow. Normally, its around -5 C (23 F) and we have 8-12 inches of snow at this time of year.

Global warming is true just for the fact humans are for ever destroying the planets natural resources ,the planet has to retaliate somehow to keep alive. We are just taking and never giving anything back to the planet.

Yes - If earth was once in an ice age but isn't today, the only answer can be global warming. BTW - there was no industrial pollution during the ice age. Something to ponder.

Most scientists that have researched it all agree that global climate change is occurring.
The only few scientists that disagree are funded by conservative rightwing governments who have big business interests in mind such as the coal, petroleum and automotive industries.

The earth has been warming since the Middle Ages, there are old paintings of ics skaters on the Thames. Climatic warming and cooling are natural cycles dependent on the sun and earth's orbital variation. Use of fossil fules is also an effect but not significant compared to natural cycles.

I think it's true 'cuz all the pollution gathers more sun heat than necessary. The heat makes the Earth warmer and melts the ice in the poles. I think it's called the greenhouse effect.
