I've been thinking of getting a body wave or perm for my long, thin hair. But I don't have $100 to spend on it.

Any cheaper way to add some curls/waves/body to my hair?

Go to a salon - or drugstore if you don't want to spend the money on salon products and buy a diffuser for the end of your blowdryer. These work wonders, they seperate the hair while you're blowdrying to lift the roots more. Try buying a volumizing spray as well.

Blow-dry upside down with a little mousse at the roots. Also try Hot-Rollers if you have time, with a little hair spray on your hair, then when your hair cools, run your fingers through it - instant eighties hair.

use a volumizing mouse like the new one from suave or something from paul mitchell etc.

also use a volumizing mouse when styling.

if anything.. tease the under parts of your hair and the other parts will look higher up...
