The stupid thing is in heat, and I cant stand it anyway. I refuse to shell out money for some stupid operation. So my options are 1) put it outside and let the boys have her 2) hide her in a room until she shuts up 3) take her for a looooong drive... 5) euthanize the SOB... or 5) give her to some Yahoo Answers pet-loving fanatic who replies here calling me names for being so cruel.
Those who flame, I will assume you have chosen item #5. Post your email with your flame. It's not human, in fact legally, its propery - property I dont really %#^#&-ing want anyway.

Should add that I took the thing in because no one else would. Thats all. Other than feed the thing and give it litterbox to crap in, I couldnt care less about it. Anyone want a cat before I "give it back"? Im close...reeeeeal close...

Jessica - whats your address so I can ship you a cat? Anyone else flame, be sure to include your address. Heck I might put the thing up on ebay so you animal lovers can out bid each other for the "pleasure" of taking care of this d*mn thing.

Hi there...most animal shelters worldwide will perform a very low fee or free spay. If you are in the USA consider ringing 1-800 SPAY USA http://spayusa.org to find the nearest shelter to do this.
[edit] sorry to say if you are not willing to consider free or low fee spay then surrender the cat over to a shelter. At least they'll spay and then try to find her a more suitable home.

I understand that it's very annoying when a cat is in heat, but why did you take it in the first place? you say no one else wanted it, but I bet if you put an add in the paper, or at your local grocery store, and just put the word out, then someone will more than likely take her. She deserves to be loved and treated properly, if you put her outside and let the boys "have" her, then youre gonna end up with a pregnant cat, what do you think will be worse? her heat will go away eventually, if its that bad, then you should try asking your s.p.c.a if they have any way that they can do a low cost spaying or something. It doesnt sound like you like her though.. maybe you should adopt her out. Good Luck with that.. and try to be a little nicer.

I love cats but I felt the same way 30 years ago about a dog. I strongly suggest you take this animal to an animal shelter. Both you and the cat will be better off. It's kind to take in something that's starving but the best solution is to keep it from breeding and find it another home. Since you probably don't want to advertise, please take it to a shelter. Good luck.
BTW, I made my husband sell the dog. I'm sorry that I couldn't love it, but I'm glad it found a home with someone that could.

If you live near enough to me, I would be more than happy to take her and find her a better home. I'm in Ohio. Email me at silkypaws@donet.com.
If you're too far away for that to be an option, then please take her to a shelter where she at least has a chance (as opposed to dumping her outside somewhere or euthanizing her). Even if you don't like her, there are humane options that don't have to cost you a penny. There's never an excuse to be cruel.

If you won't even get your cat spayed, or even care about it than yes, your a horrible person. Why get an animal if your not going to care for it?!?!
If you even have a heart (because I'm not sure you do after I've read this) then take the cat to the ASPCA. Unless you want more female kittens meawing when there in heat then don't throw her outside for the boy cats to have her. Simply take the cat to the shelter. Then, NEVER get another animal again.
See how simple that is?

this is one of the most stupid things i have ever read.
if you dont want the cat, and you dont care about it, why the hell dont you get rid of it? im sure there is somebody out there who wants a cat. and dont kill it, hurt it, or throw it outside. if its outside its more or less going to get hit by a car, get rabies, or have 20 other kittens and get FIV or something stupid like that. take it to a shelter. if you cant spend 30 minutes of your life taking a poor cat to a shelter, you have no heart. -.-

The best thing to do in that situation is either buy ear plugs or.. give her lost of attention and sympathy!
She should calm down when you pet her and play with her
I do the same with my cats

Well, don't let her outside to produce more kittens that will go into heat and caterwaul...some humane societies will neuter/spay for free; you should check that out. Pets are property, and they're not as important as people, but they still deserve some level of respect as living creatures. Do you have a garage or somewhere where you can keep her in the meantime, where she won't drive you insane?
