Russian, it's cooler.

depends on what you want to do with the language, and how often will you get to speak it where you are living. It's difficult to sustain such a long-term activity without any motivation or goal.

I recommend travelling to russia .. it is just such a mind-blowing experience. Italy is great too, but the culture is quite different to russia. In my opinion, Italians are louder and more expressive, while Russians are more humble and down-to-earth. For me, I prefer the Russian culture.

if you want a taste of russian then head over to my website for what to expect. it's only just gone online so it isn't very big yet, but I hope it helps you to decide!

it depends on your native language. If you are from vest I would recommend Italian , if you are from east Europe I would say that Russian could be better choice.
For example I'm from Poland & I learn russian cause gramma is very simillar to my native language ( all foreginers say that gramma's the most difficult part in east languages .. and its true)

depends on which one you find more appealing. as an english speaker, it would be easier to learn italian, as there are many cognates. russian doesn't have so many similarities to english. personally if i had the choice, i would choose russian. I think it is such a beautiful language... but that's just me.

Everything depends on you, but I'm a Russian native speaker and I may help you, if you need it.

If you know Spanish, Latin, or French then you should learn Italian.

If not, then I would learn the easiest first, then move on to tthe harder one.
