They chose it- the fact is in the large number of non-Muslim minorities in Muslim lands who have been there for 1400 years + and the strong support for islamic groups in the Muslim world and the fact that there hasnt been a mass scale apostasy of Muslims living in non-Muslim lands (and there are hundreds of millions) quite the reverse
The history of Christianity was sadly the opposite -everyone was forced to become Christian or be exterminated

People were treated like **** once Muslims ruled their country in the past. Take a look at how Turkey handles non-Muslims even today. They really had a choice of Islam or live like a dog.

Why is it such a hard thing to believe? Could it be that maybe there is some beauty to Islam? I mean one guy couldn't have possibly been so powerful as to FORCE millions of unwilling victims to obey the message. I am willingly Muslim and have been blessed to have been guided to the light of God. Peace.

Well, considering the fact that Mohammad, himself, fought 30 and odd Wars to forcibly "convert" the Arab Peninsula and drive the Jews out, go figure!!!!

No one can follow a religion without freely deciding so. So, it would be impossible for them to be forced.
(I follow no god)
