You don't really "get selected", most people are volunteers. Most of these soldiers come from the Green Berets or Rangers, some people say they recruit from all branches, some say they don't. So I don't know.

You go to a selection process that involves many things, the hardest part probably are the navigation courses(or whatever what you wanna call them). They have to navigate their way through woods and rough terrain, completely on their own, not knowing what the time limit is. The longest one is something like 40-50 miles.

There is a lot more that I don't feel like tying out, I would recommend reading the book "Inside Delta Force", it goes over the selection process and some of their missions.

Basically, you got to be in amazing shape, highly motivated, highly skilled, and able to figure out things on your own.

an excellent variety of it has to do with what each and each branch is uncovered to. i've got self assurance media performs a huge function besides. Marines think of they're the wonderful because of the fact they wade by using a complicated education mutually as air rigidity think of they're the best because of the fact which you "might desire to be smart" to get in (or so i've got heard) and it is going on with each and each branch. interior the tip, i admire being interior the army and does not commerce it for the rest.

E-6 to begin with, NEVER a quarterly mark below 3.4 (mostly 3.8), leadership, decision making and TOP NOTCH in your MOS.

It also helps if you have worked closely with a command officer (Commander or above) as staff and have excelled.

Good luck,
J
