Sex is also approved as a way of fostering love between a married couple. So, approved unless it could harm the baby.

It's not "just recreation". Sure, there are lots of couples out there having a good time in the name of recreation. While sex is fun, it is not meant to serve as a form of entertainment (only).

Morally speaking, since all Christians are called to chastity, this is an act reserved for married couples. Sex is an act that expresses love between a man and a woman, a married man and woman.

A husband is not banned from expressing his love towards his wife, in a sexual manner, simply because she's pregnant. While she is not going to get any "more pregnant", that does not take away from the act being an expression of love between spouses.

The Catholic Church approves of all sex within a marriage. They consider it something to be respected and cherished between a man and a woman. They never stated it is only for procreation.

I am from Christian Ortodox Church and we find sin that
whitch harms the human being and/or causes them suffering
and/or takes away possible happyness.

- Why no sex before marrige:
because it can bring emotional suffering to know your woman
ever belonged to another or that your man belonged to another.
And untill you marry your spouse is technicaly not yours.
You can have sex. But what if at the wedding the spouse says
no. You will be left...HARMED. For you have given them
something you can never give anyone else...your virginity.
And no court will ever give it back. Suffering.
- Why no unconceptional sex?
If you have sex without a condom...but no baby...no sin.
If you have sex with a condom...not mainly a sin..you don't
know technicaly...because there MIGHT have been a baby.
Baby...is happyness...there is no greater happyness than
a child. You take that happyness...FROM YOURSELF...you sin.
- Sex during pregnancy?
does it harm you or your wife?
does it cause either you her or the baby suffering?
does it take away possible happyness?
If yes : It's sin
If no : It's not

Hope you understood this and it helped.

Sex within the confines of Marriage is not only ok but a grace giving sacrament! This is true for pregnant or sterile relationships as well. The Church encourages the use of NFP as well, which only has you have sex at the infertile time of your cycle.

Who honestly cares what the church has to say, churches sell out their own people, think about out, all they really do is try to sell biblical things, and get everyone to convert, it's like they don't care about what they're trying to teach, but rather they just want money.

Sell outs.

Once the woman is pregnant, there's no need for intercourse until another child is desired, usually about 15 minutes after one is born.
