Cover the wheat-grass and herbs in steak sauce.

Dogs are not meant to be vegans, they are made to eat meat. If you really have to have the dog on a meatless formula try Natural Balance Vegetarian Formula, it is not vegan but it is much better for the dog. I really do not think that either is as good for the dog as it is for them to be receiving meat. If you feel that the dog has to be a vegan, find the dog a new home that doesn't care that it eats meat.

Do not force your dog to be vegan. She will become very unhealthy, and will not get the nutrients that she can only get from meat products. It might also make your dog aggressive if you withhold her natural right to eat meat.

I think you cannot do that. Dogs are carnivorous, so they need to eat meat, they eat meat. I´m sure there´s no way you can force your poor dog to become a vegan. Sorry. Maybe you should get another animal (a herbivorous one), e.g. a rabbit, a turttle.

You can't just give her wheat grass and herbs because she will die. You need to be giving her a well-rounded diet with all the appropriate nutrients that a dog needs, which is complicated. Why don't you just go to a pet store and buy your dog a bag of vegetarian dog food? They are considered to be well-rounded and perfectly safe for dogs.

You should NOT be trying to force your dog to be vegan..it is VERY unhealthy for her and unnatural. Dogs are designed to extract nutrition from meats not grains/veggies. Their jaws/teeth and digestive tract are made to digest & process meats & meat proteins.

Dogs are naturally meat eaters and their bodies need protein. Vegan diets are possible for animals but they aren't recommended. You shouldn't push your diet on your animal.

Feed it dog food that doesn't contain animal products, but is nutritionally balanced for dogs.

However, if you let it go outside, it will probably start digging up moles and chasing field mice in order to eat them.

They need much more protein than we do, so you may be taking risks with its health.

Well, duh ... dogs are carnivores. Didn't you know that?

If I were you, I'd have more respect and tolerance for your dog's choices. Not everybody has to be a vegan, just because you are.

Trying to force others to be a vegan like you is -- for lack of better terminology -- dietary fascism.
