Yes, you can kill him with kindness. That "tough guy" is only a bully and I bet he isn't so tough. Fighting never really solves anything. You should bring it up to the school principal or a guidance counselor that this kid wants to make trouble with you.
You will be doing him a service by telling someone b/c maybe he will get the help that he needs. Many bullies have problems at home and suffer from lowself esteem, I would take my best guess and say he's no different.

Study him first. Learn how he fights by moving around a lot and staying out of the way of his punches. Then try to take advantage of what you see. This will also allow him to tire out a little and you'll then have a speed advantage. If he's really big and stocky, try to take a hard shot (like a swift kick) just below his knee cap. Heavy people have a lot of stress on their knees, so a good blow there will knock him down. If he goes down you want to hurry and take him out because you don't want him to get up pissed. If you can innocently sneak in close to him you may also go for a cheap shot to the nasal septum or nuts. Then you'll have another chance at injuring him when he flinches, if you're quick (not generally recommended but if he's a strong guy this may be your only option to avoid getting pounded).

Just remember to use your head before you use your fists, as he'll likely be thinking the other way around. Don't use too many punches (you'll wear yourself out), and make sure the ones you do use count. And KEEP AN EYE ON HIM. You don't want to get hit if you can help it. Good luck.

Being the toughest is not at all linked to being the coolest. If I were you I would go and talk to the dude and tell him you hope you can leave it in the past and be friends. He is probably embarrassed (maybe looking for a rematch), and if you can make friends with him it will make it a lot easier for you to become popular. Don't make the popular kids your enemy, it will not help your social status AT ALL!

talk to an adult sweetie. fighting is not the answer to everything. this kid can get in a lot of trouble for being a bully. if you can't talk to your parents, then try talking to an adult at the school. maybe a school counselor or teacher or even the principal. above all, be careful, and remember that you are the bigger person for NOT fighting him.

I agree with Patrick A. Fighting him only makes him win. He wins because he controls you. There is always someone tougher but you win when you aren't pulled in by him. Apparently this guy doesn't have a good self esteem because it doesn't take brains, character, talent or anything but physical strength. Character, brains, kindness etc. you always have. His ability to fight will diminish. He will also always have to worry about someone tougher. Be smarter. Good luck!

Your cerebral and his are at the same level.
If you fight him, you are no better than he is.
Also, you would be opening up a new can of worms and potentially reaping the consequences later.
Think ahead. You don't want a Columbine incident.

yea... if you go to a different school and are bigger than them.... sounds like you're getting bullied..... don't make yourself a bigger loser and get beat up.....and by the way it makes you look dumb if you plan a fight.... and you wont win because you have gave your emotions time to cool down and you wont do as much damage.... fighting is stupid anyways

fighting him and beating up him is not use because if you beat him all he's going to do is try to beat you up. Just walk away. Leave him alone.

You can be suspended or expelled from school. Fighting won't solve anything, it will only make things worse.
