of course. A girl can also have your 10 year old neighbor cut it in your garage, but you wouldnt want to, unless you want a certain look.
Do you want a man's style? I went to a barbershop when I was 18 and had them give me a flat top like a guy's...the barber was taken aback, but did it with the electric clippers and sissors.
If you are just trying to save money (barber is about $12-15 bucks) maybe try SuperCuts or something like that.

yes a lady i knew always went to a barbershop to get her hair cut she said that the men cut better that women

Sure, why not? There's no law against it. The barbers probably get tired of seeing mostly male clients; why not every once in a while have a pretty girl come in for a haircut; it would make their day!

im guessing you can? i dont think they have men only barber shops
but as for me, i'd be embarrassed to get my hair cut there :/

yeah...probly most likley if you have a short cut...but i mean..depends on where u go..black barber shops are different from other ones..
