Dance. If you don't want to go to an actual dance studio (many offer beginning adult classes) then you can see if your gym offers dance classes. Many gyms now offer things like cardio salsa or cardio hip hop dance classes. I get bored doing the same thing over and over again too and I actually hate the machines at the gym but the dance classes give you a good cardio workout, you use muscles you wouldn't expect to be using (believe me, you'll feel it the next day!) and the routines are always different so it's never the same thing twice. I would highly recommend it. Good luck!

Go to www.trikke.com and click on trikke USA. My husband and I just bought Trikke coupes for each other for Christmas and we have been having an absolute ball on them. The coupe requires a smooth surface like new asphalt or concrete. DO NOT ride them on a wet surface as you can wipe out easily. I think the ones with the air-filled tires are better for rougher asphalt or dirt, but they were too expensive for us. It is quite a workout, you don't get a free ride on these things! But is is rewarding when you finally get how to do it and you get better every time you ride it. It works your entire body. I can feel it in my calves, buns, arms, core abdomen muscles the most. If you have fairly good weather and flat smooth surfaces to ride on, I HIGHLY recommend a Trikke if you can afford it. Ours cost about $200.00 each. Note: this is NOT the Trike which is a motor scooter conversion of some kind. Other than that? I would recommend aqua aerobics in a class. If you can find a good instructor. Many of the instructors have you do the aqua exercises too fast and it can be very stressful on your joints, so be careful. I bought myself foam aqua dumbbells and I just get in water over my head with them and make up my own exercises. Its fun, but I have a hard time getting myself to the gym on a regular basis.

Swimming, snowboarding/skiing, tennis/badminton, Volleyball or even sledding with your friends are great "workouts" to do. Also, you could always try doing a yoga class, because it is very relaxing, and it tones your body. If you don't like that, try a pilates class, because you have an instructor to encourage you all the way!
