Pervs disguised as "Christians"?

Question

Why do some men hide behind the "Christian" label....just to get women?
I was recruited by the "Church of Christ" only to hit on by several different guys in the church.....does this sound strange to you?

A church is supposed to be a SAFE place to worship, praise and learn about the LORD.
Not a place that I have to worry about guys checking out my big firm boobies and round bum!!!

Sounds strange to me; I do not go looking for women at church. Church is for worship; there is plenty of other time to check out a sexy woman like you. Your big b00bs and sexy butt would get my attention, but I would wait to put the moves on you until after worship service and would start by asking you out for a drink or coffee, etc. and not just hit on you during worship. Some guys have not respect for a sexy woman!

Yeah, I can't believe it. The first time I ever encountered that I was shocked at such a thing.

And it's sooo Stupid. Sometimes the disguise is so thin you can see right through it, that guy could never really be a Christian.

I know one husband, and this other guy and his own wife both told him they didn't have to worry about her hanging out with this guy, cause' he's a Christian.

The whole entire time they were having sex when the husband wasn't home! Right in his house while he was working.

You're words, "Hiding Behind Christianity" are the same one's I was gonna use.

I guess they just figure it's a good way to get women. Sick.

Now, just one thing in these guys favor, they could be innocent.

A Christian is, afterall, a real human being. Especially as concerns looking for a spouse and getting married. They are very much for that in the Christian religion.

So, was it a situation where they wanted to date you?

Cause' that is totally ok. They are not celibate Catholic priests, now.

And they are only human. Very few people today find it possible to wait until marriage. I'm tempted to say especially guys, but I think that is just the way they tend to look at it.

Women are people, too. So as long as they would have to wait to be married today? Like what? It takes till 30 just to get enough money to make it?!

You're probably not gonna find a whole lot of female virgins in a church either.

Could be wrong, but life doesn't work that way, I don't think.

If it does there is bound to be some nervous problems and mental illness, from the frustration of not letting they're life get going. Just my thoughts, exactly.

Please don't think I mean anything against the Christian religion as a whole, but true Christians themselves admit following the religion is like they're own cross to bear.

It's supposed to be about sacrifice! But we know some of them are getting it all right here! Well, they aren't gonna get it later, then.

I'll bet a lot of people see the church as a good place to look for a mate. that way at least you have a better chance of meeting someone decent than you would in a bar... Church of Christ... hummm. Good people but believe in baptismal regeneration and then only if they do it... I have tried to show them that this is works salvation and that water can't save or Christ died in vain (we could have all just had one of the elders baptize us) but they are adamant about it.. Other than that I find then totally christian... Jim

yep I have seen this also, but its not just in church,I went to an AA function as support 4 a dear freindof mine (female) and you would not beleive how many predatorsgo to them,no dis to the AA but they prey on weak and vunerable women,I cottoned onto this and put her wise,after all kicking the grog is hard enough,but hey Icaught some guys hackin on her,but not 4 long,not once she sussed out my obsevations,beleive me they did'nt do it again I may be only5"6 but hey I can stand my own,coz it's not wot you do or say it's how you do it.chivalry is not dead.god is my witness and I dont back off easily.many ladies that weekend got put wise to the letcherous bastards,no medals no cigars it's just me and my protective nature. oh them vultures are just waiting to pounce at any opportunity,we won't be attending any more AA functions in future .dont get me wrong I met lots of genuine folks that weekend.I relayed all of this to her sponsor,opened their eyes too,big differance in being socialable and letcherous dont you think.sorry its so long winded, but truth will out.I'm done thanks forgiving me some thing worthwhile to comment on.p.s it was AA and Alanon function and folks from all over the uk, and global attend these meets.very honest and genuine folks and I learned so much on alchol addiction and its effect on peoples lives young and old and the knock on effect it has on their families

The same reason pedophiles hide behind good citizens and scout masters to get at little children. Has nothing to do with the church - just man's lust. Woman sometimes hide behind false masks also in and out of the church. And people outside the church sometimes hide behind false masks also to achieve their goals. Actually, that is probably the most normal thing about them. They are really only concerned about the acquisition of power - and women and wealth are the badges of their power.

Not sure if I follow your logic? Christian people marry and have kids like most others. Don't think that would qualify them as pervs. Of course mens opinions don't seem to hold much lately.
