The best thing to do is to tell your parents how you feel. You didn't say how old you are, but I assume you are under 18. Also, search the web for information on bi-polar. There's tons of info here. Especially you need to learn about the symptoms of this ailment. there are many symptoms but you don't necessarily have to have all of them. There is medication to help control being bi=polar. If you can at least see someone in the profession of dealing with this, I am sure it would only be a matter of time before you felt better. If left alone, it will only worsen to the point that you may not be able to function the way you want to. Please seek the help of your parents. I am sure that they love you and would help you with this. If not, talk to a school counselor. Good luck....let us all know what happens. We care....

Well first, maybe try posting this question under a different category too (such as a health/mental health section) so that you can get more answers that might be better.
You need to tell your parents, I don't know how old you are, but regardless, your parents are older and wiser and if they're good parents, they'll help you out as much as they can. If you're a teenager, then it might just be a stage. We can be crazy sometimes, I know. If you're old enough to drive, then maybe go to the doctor's on your own and ask him if he knows. Maybe ask a teacher that you really trust instead of your parents.
Either way, talk to someone. That's the best first step.

I am sorry that you are afraid to talk with your parents. If you know they won't help you then go to your school guidance counselor provided you have one. You need and deserve a guiding hand. If counseling alone does the trick great, if not then you may need some meds to get you through this. It is very common, you are NOT the only one out there who feels like this and there IS help! :-)

Having a mental illness is not a crime or something to be ashamed about enough to not seek help. Mentally ill people didn't ask to be that way. Try to talk to your parents and don't hide how you feel inside. Talk to someone you trust and seek professional help from a doctor or therapist, please!

1) you probably have hypocondria.
2) or depression-- not bipolar. do you have manic attacks? thought not.
3) you tell your parents you would like to see a psychiatrist
4) if they say no, speak with your school coucilor and they are required to assist.
5) hypocondria is thinking you have some disorder that you don't have.

I think you should talk with a psycologist, maybe call a hotline with your doctor or something, its impossible to tell without a professional diagnosis.
