Good question!! I personally follow evidence, and not some silly book, if we all followed books, especially fantasy ones, imagine what the world would be like!!! Oh my gosh!

I don't
Christians believe that God became man, and thus was able to experience suffering and pain on the cross. If he didn't have human feelings, then the rest is empty. Therefore they do not believe that God is infallible.
I can't speak for other people and what they believe in.
Also there is a difference between belief and knowledge. I don't believe that water boils at 100 degrees C, I know it does. Say what you like about this, but it can't offend me. I won't get upset by you denying it. Some people choose to know that their beliefs are real. This is where it gets complicated.............

i dont.
if god made man in his own image, and man is SO ****** up...how could god be infalible?? lol
however tho, hard evidance means little thos those who are die-hard god fans. they pride themselves on believeing things that make little logical sense like fitting 10 million soecies of animals onto a single boat or some guy parting 40-50 miles of water.

because He created me & knew me before i was born. Because He made the earth you and I stand and live on now. Because He created this so complexly designed life & universe & there is no way anyone can tell me it happened by chance. and last but not least, i want to live in peace in heaven when i die. not in hell, where all atheists & unbelievers will be burning in an eternal flame with the gnashing of teeth & the cries for help. but for them.... .it will be too late. THAT is why I believe in Jesus, my Lord & Savior. any more stupid questions?

God is PURE, PERFECT. We are OF God and are perfectly imperfect. So how does that figure together...not sure. Yet I do know that God is Pure / perfect. The aspects of living our human lifes with our souls that are the Breath of God, the ' perfection' is the adventure of life playing out, growing and discovering as it does. All is as it should be...perfectly...glitches and all.

its more that its definitional.
how is it illogical? I see nothing at all illogical about the beliefs I hold maybe you are straw-man-ing. assuming when you say "god" that I believe in what your referring to.

Anything that created us, the ultimate plague species, could not be considered infallible, or even benign for that matter.

>>Why do you believe in an infallible God?<<
Because I wouldn't waste my time on a fallible one.

It's hard to explain... I know because I just know... you don't know because you haven't experienced it. The best way to explain it is to describe the taste of salt. Pretend I have never tasted anything with salt before, and you want to tell me what it tastes like. Obviously you can't use the word "salty" because I wouldn't get the meaning. It's the same way for me... I can't explain how I know because it is like nothing else and there are no words for it.
