I'm not looking to badmouth religion; just trying to see who keeps it real.
If it has; did you stick with it, or convert to something else?
I was burnt, & converted...hook, line & sinker.

I grew up going to two different churches every Sunday morning. My father is Catholic and my mother Prodestant. Some of the kids at the prodestant church would give us a hard time b/c we were able to go to dances, listen to music, etc. Some of their parents did the same to us. We never told my Mom b/c we were afraid that we were doing something wrong and didn't want to hurt her feelings.

When I was on my own I didn't go to church. Catholic church was boring and left way too many questions in my mind about it's legitimacy.

Now I found a wonderful prodestant church that accepts everyone and does not allow judgement of each other. It's the best thing in the world. I LOVE my church!!!

My approach was to decide on my beliefs first, then seek out the religion that matched best.

I could no longer live with hypocrisy of Christianity, and felt no attraction to other mainstream faiths, so I turned to Wicca. It was the best decision I ever made. I cannot really be "burned" by a spiritual system that encourages me to follow my heart.

Honestly, because I'm also a spiritualist-type, yes.

Sometimes it's very hard to assimilate two pieces of information, and synthesize a whole out of it. I mean, you don''t want to know how hard it was to deal with Thelema and Satanism together. I came to the conclusion that it depends on what one means by "Star," to figure out which is better.

I think they all can, because they are all dealign with people. And we all make mistakes and sometimes hurt others in the process. Sure I have been hurt. Sure, I wanted to leave at times... but All we can do, is put our trust in CHRIST not man.
