I've been having some difficulty breathing (chest feels tight) whenever my heart rate goes up, and it's happened to me countless times and the doctors are keeping an eye on it. This time I had experienced sudden sharp chest pain that goes away quickly. The longest isn't even near a minute, I guess. And I just had the chest pain five or less times in almost a week. Is this something I should see the doctor about?

I would defiantly see the doctor again. Ask the doctor about doing a stress test and an echocardiogram. These are tests that help detect certain problems with the heart.

Good luck.

I had something similar, and family has history of heart problems.
My doc checked me out, and came to the conclusion that it is stress related, like mini panic attacks.
This was only me, but yeah, you should see what the doc's have to say.
Why take the chance, keep and eye on what you eat until you get to the doctors, and try to chill out, see if that helps.

Chances are it's nothing serious, I would recommend seeing a doctor ASAP. If anything, it will give you peace of mind.

Difficulty breathing and chest pain are certainly not two symptoms you should ignore.

Yes, you need to find out what the cause of this is all about.

It could be as simple as an anxiety attack (I had similar symptoms when I had those). But really need to get a diagnosis.
