My little angel goes poo really well with apple juice. Almost guaranteed. Grape juice works pretty well too. I always give her a sippy cup full of water and keep it full so she can drink anytime she likes. That way she doesn't get dehydrated as easily cuz if I don't then I forget to give her much to drink and don't realise right away how long its been since she has had anything. Also try high fiber foods (some cereals are really good). Good luck

This is going to sound rediculous but I assure you I am not joking. My son has had a problem with using the bathroom since he was a baby. So much so that between myself, my mom and my grandmother we have a calander that we use to keep up with the last time he has pooped. Prune juice, white grape juice, rasins, yogurt, apples, apple sauce, avoiding bannanas and cheese, these are all very helpful advice but none of them have worked with my son. Then I found my magic answer. Commercial Chineese Food. I know it sound rediculous but seriously, every time I take my son out to eat chineese food he comes right home and makes a poo. He is four now and it took me forever to convince my old fashioned grandmother that this was working but its true! The next time your 2 yr old is having a really hard time making a poo try feeding her chineese take out. It works.

All the other suggestions are good- prune juice, raisins, etc.
My 3-year old was constipated last week, and the doctor recommended one tablespoon of milk of magnesia. I bought the strawberry flavored and it worked within three hours. But, you should obviously check with the doctor first- since he/she is only two.

Its a very common problem, my little girl suffered for a while, you have to keep changing their diets, there is a drink from the pharmacist, if i were you id seek help off the doctor, my little girl was very poorly with it:( No apples potatoes carrots etc, eat lots of kiwis, sometimes it doesn't help, so medical advice is the only answer, keep calm and good luck!

freshly squeezed orange juice and lots of water.

How long since her last poo? Several days? Take her to the docs if in doubt.

Is this a one-off or does it happen more often? Does his/her diet include lots of fruit and veg? Think about these questions and you might get your answer.

Kiwi fruit is a natural laxative .(and my kids love it really ripe and sliced up in a bowl )..I ate loads when I was pregnant and most mums out there will understand why,I also ate 2 wheetabix every day .Try giving her loads of fruit and fibre and make sure she drinks plenty.fresh fruit juice is great...this could be caused by dehydration as well as diet..Look up some web sites for good sources of natural fibre and ideas for kids meals..good luck

Pedialyte or juice to help hydrate her. A lot of times constipation is caused by dehydration.
