There is no exact translation for "I miss you" in Japanese (which might be why it sounds like you're having trouble finding the answer you want)

The second answer - "anata ga inakute sabishii desu" or "I'm lonely without you" - is very good. It's probably what a Japanese person would say when they want to say "I miss you"

You could also say あなたに会いたい "anata ni aitai" or "I want to see you"
or
あなたに会いたくてたまらない "anata ni aitakute tamaranai" - "i want to see you so badly I can't stand it"

Just a side note - the first answer, "natsukashii", is not used for people, so it wouldn't work for "I miss you".
You might be able to use it for "I miss the times we spent together"
あなたと一緒に過ごした時間は懐かしい "anata to issho ni sugoshita jikan wa natsukashii" but I'm not sure how natural that sounds.

Hope that helps :)

This is the best way to say "I miss you" in Japanese:

あなたがいなくて寂しいです。
Anata ga inakute sabishii desu.

It translates to: "I am lonely without you", but this is the most common way to say "I miss you" in Japanese.
